About Us:

Matthew L. Erickson, DC

Erickson Family Chiropractic Center is proud to introduce Shockwave Therapy and Laser Therapy to Roseau and the surrounding communities. Using this cutting-edge technology, Dr. Erickson is able to help people suffering from back pain, neck pain, chronic pain and sports-related injuries as quickly as possible.

Dr. Erickson was born and raised in Roseau, MN.  He is a 1999 graduate of Roseau High School. Growing up, he played hockey for Roseau Youth Hockey and Roseau Rams High School Hockey. He was also a member of the Ram's Baseball team.  He was a member of the 1999 State Championship Hockey Team! After high school hockey took him to Bismark to play for the Bismark Bobcats for two years.  After Bismark, he went on to Lincoln, NE to play for the Lincoln Stars of the USHL.  Lincoln is where he met his wife (and office manager), Bethany.  After his season ended with The Stars, he decided to hang up his skates and follow in his father's footsteps by starting college and working towards his Chiropractic Education.  He spent three years at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln completing his pre-requisites needed to be admitted to Northwestern Health Sciences University.  He was accepted to and enrolled at NWHSU and spent 3 1/2 years completing his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic simultaneously.  After graduation Matt, Bethany and their daughter Lily, moved to Roseau to join practice with his father, Lew A. Erickson, DC.  Matt and Lew worked side-by-side for nearly 10 years before Lew retired and Matt took over the practice.  During those years, Matt and Bethany welcomed their son, Max, to the world.

Matt continues his father's legacy at Family Chiropractic Center.

Dr. Erickson enjoys anything with a motor and wheels or a track in his free time.  He also enjoys watching Lily and Max play hockey and ball.
